I get it. Pain isn't fun. Whether you have chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, lower back pain, multiple sclerosis, lyme disease or any of the other chronic conditions that can be related to physical pain...
Or you have acute pain from a recent car, motorcycle, sports or at home accident... it can be frustrating, debilitating and often overwhelming. The physical experience of pain ranges from unpleasant, to excruciating and torturous. The emotional experience that comes with it can be just as bad, especially when the physical pain is chronic.
Pain also often limits us in startling ways, from what we can do to where we can go, how we interact with others, what we're able to create in the world, and how we show up on a daily basis.
The short term fixes, whether it's medications, injections, surgeries, massage, chiropractic, or other options, often help, but don't lead to lasting pain relief. And as the pain wears on, it wears us down. Over time, we start to feel as if we can't bounce back. We keep searching for solutions, but nothing makes the pain go away.
In the end, most people just give in and accept that this is the norm for them and that they'll be stuck with physical pain forever. They deal day-to-day with the pain and feel that their current situation is the best that they can have and that they just are stuck with the pain.
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone. More than 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain, and that's just a small sampling of the people suffering around the world.
Well I'm here to tell you something that I know to be true because of years of experience and research...
